Julie Hannan Perfect works in early intervention, school-based, and outpatient settings with children and adults who have developmental disabilities. She graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1980 and a DPT in Pediatric Sciences in 2017. In 2015, she became a certified pediatric clinical specialist. Julie works as a part-time professor at University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Samuel Merritt University, where she teaches pediatric curriculum for the first-year DPT programs.

Julie's passion is treating pediatric standing and gait issues. For thirty years, she has been teaching courses on pediatric gait using principles and strategies she developed alongside Mary Weck. Julie has an endlessly curious mind and an irrepressible excitement for whats possible when you pay attention to the right components and alignments of standing and gait with a goal of pain-free function across the lifespan.
